As I assume that most everyone here will be busy next week, preparing what is my favorite meal of the year, thought I’d wish everyone a happy thanksgiving, other than the turkey, and the pie, it will done Wednesday. Thank God, “da wife” pretty much is banished from the kitchen, the second year that our daughter decided that thanksgiving should be a mother/daughter thing, she came to me and said “dad, mom can’t cook”. I’m at work and I get a phone call, her: what am I supposed to do with all this shit inside the turkey? Me: other than the liver, roast it off, and make the gravy with it. Her: no, I bought gravy mix. Stuffing not stove top, but dam, she got close to it. Mirco waved sweet potatoes, her pumpkin pie filling is good, but you need a jack hammer for the crust. This went on for years. If I went anywhere near the kitchen, well let’s just say becoming a eunuch really doesn’t have much appeal. Happy thanksgiving, everyone.
