Cloves, Mace and Nutmeg-A Taste of Hearth Cooking
After the heads of Garlick and a good Ginger sliced has been added to the pickle for the receipt (recipe) To pickle Peaches then add half an ounce of Cloves, Mace, and Nutmegs.
